Build a Shinigami

Rukongai (Wandering Soul Town) is the largest portion of Soul Society and the most populated. It is divided into 320 districts (80 in North-, South, West, and East-Rukongai), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numerated (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful, district 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area; there is no indication that the Shinigami or any other agencies patrol the streets of Rukongai, and as a result, the citizenry are mainly responsible for their day-to-day welfare.

All souls must post their Biography before entering into the Shinigami academy or otherwise. The biographies themselves must be descriptive. Depending on were the soul’s origins lay, will adversely affect its personality traits. After a soul has chosen it's origin it must also take into consideration which type of soul it will retain.

Souls who wish to be anything other then Shinigami type, must refrain from joining the Shinigami Academy. Hollows, Humans, and Quincys may proceed to their designated forums.

Shinigami: are a race of spiritual beings that act as enforcers and who all share similar supernatural powers. They are souls with a high level of innate Spiritual Energy, recruited from the ranks of the residents and nobility of Soul Society. Like all spirits, they cannot be detected by normal humans. Shinigami use their Zanpakutō, supernatural swords that are the manifestation of their owners' power, to perform soul burials on Pluses. Shinigami also use their Zanpakutō as well as magic known as Kido to fight their archrivals, the Hollows.

Here are some examples of the districts
Junrinan district #1: Being the district closest in location to Seireitei, Junrinan is in constant contact with Shinigami, as such it rarely harbors any turmoil within its jurisdiction. Souls who reside within its sector mainly display an opposition towards violence and try to avoid it, if at all possible.
Hokutan district #3: Still within the span of Seireitei, Hokutan remains relatively peaceful, though it does not boast the amount of Shinigami patrols as Junrinan. Hokutan does not gather much traffic as it is a reclusive sector with the majority of souls being of elderly age, this affects their moodiness forcing most souls there to be rash in decision making and very intolerable to change, they follow the strict rules given down.
Inuzuri district #78: Little is known of Inuzuri, aside from the reports issued stating civil wars have broken out within its surrounding sector for centuries now. Lawless and self governing Inuzuri is a harsh enough environment to remain. The souls that have lived within its borders are typically self reliant individuals who do not work well with others; over millennial fighting, they know that friend and foe are one in the same making it difficult for such individuals to separate the two.
Zaraki district #80: Legendarily known for its malice and bloodshed Zaraki is the furthest in relation to all other districts from Seireitei. With virtually no working system in place the sector is left to its own filth as criminal organizations and bounty hunters thrive. Souls who make it out of Zaraki are hardened by its constant day to day threats. Simple necessities such as, food, shelter, and clothing become difficult luxuries to attain leaving most souls there either the strongest in battle or not there is no middle ground. The majority of souls surprisingly have become accustomed to the violence and when deprived of it will seek it out in means of self fulfilling battles to the death.

Soul appearance: Considered to be the strongest captain in the Gotei 13 Fudo Hisa is a slender man with steel colored hair and a clean shaven face. The pupils of his eyes are of a golden hue, most persons upon meeting him note that his eyes hold them in place, attentively listening to his every word. Fudo Hisa wears the standard Shinigami uniform, called Shihakushō (Garment of Dead Souls) he also drapes his Haori (which has long sleeves and is royal purple inside) over his back instead of actually wearing it, allowing his arms to be folded constantly giving individuals the false sense that he is always upset at them. His Zanpaktuo is situated on his left hip and is sheathed in a golden guard with no decal displayed on it. The hilt of the sword is woven in cloth the divisions color royal purple. Every feature about Fudo Hisa is standard and normal nothing in particular stands out except for his eyes.
Soul biography: Being from Hokutan district #3 Fudo Hisa’s personality is a reflection of it. As a no-nonsense patron of rules and set regulations, Fudo Hisa expects orders to be carried out to the letter and will absolutely not tolerate any deviation from a set objective. Fudo Hisa holds the security and functionality of all Soul Society, as well as the protection of the human world; as top priority. He is known to become increasingly tense during crisis situations and will send emissaries to assess certain situations. These emissaries however more then often do not have the required skill level and subsequently are killed off as a result; to which Fudo Hisa normally replays “A good tactician knows to send their pawns in first”. Little information has been revealed on Fudo Hisa’s history within Seireitei except for that he instituted the Shinigami Academy as well as laid down the ground work for Seireitei’s functions.

Soul appearance: Wearing the standard Shinigami outfit he is a Caucasian male with hazel eyes and very short dark hair. He usually has a little stubble but never a full grown beard. He is 6’2 in height. He has a slim body and is quite well toned. He has a face that can offer both the warmest welcome and most chilling glare.
Soul biography:
When his violent outbursts began a close friend of Izanagi suggested martial arts and kendo as a way to both release and control the rage he bottled up inside. As well as helping him control his emotions the martial arts provided him with a little more confidence and built up his self-esteem ever so slightly. His home was the same as every other home in his district. He was adopted as soon as he entered soul society and lived with his father and two younger brothers. Their mother had died after a small gang war broke out into the street she was walking in. She was beaten to death. He always preferred the night rather than day and the winter rather than summer. He believed the most quiet and peaceful times were during the night when most were sleeping. During these times he enjoyed taking walks down empty streets and through the various districts or just sitting in a park. It gave him time to think, time to dream. With the moon illuminating his surroundings he would become lost in his thoughts. Although he was considered by most to be a loner he did have 5 very close friends. These were his only friends but that was all he needed. He often considered them extended family more than friends and was there for them whenever they needed him. He learned to watch almost everything that passed him, his quiet and reserved personality meant that most people would pass him without so much as blinking never mind acknowledging his presence. After his father and two younger brothers were killed by street thugs from the 89th district, Izanagi entered the gotei 13, spending most of his days practicing his combat skills and going for long walks. His confidence along with his self-esteem began to grow stronger each day. After seeing his entire 'adoptive' family die his heart began to turn cold. He no longer feared death and he lived only to help the helpless and enforce the laws of soul society.
